Robotic process automation (RPA) is the application of technology, that allows employees in a company to configure computer software or a "robot" to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction. manipulating data, triggering responses, and communicating with other digital systems. 

RPA software isn't part of an organization's IT Infrastructure. In­stead, it is positioned on top of an organisation'sexisting technology. Meaning that it is both complementary to core systems and, non-disruptive for day-to-day business. RPA does not require revisions to business-critical legacy systems. This platform simplifies processes based on business rules and , events, automating the time-consuming work formerly requiring human Interaction. Gaps between multiple applications/systems can be accomplished through event-driven automation, rather, than requiring multiple manual tasks.
